About Emtek

Emtek was founded in 2012, strategically located in Guelph, Ontario’s manufacturing corridor.

Our founding staff of 4 was assembled with key experience in operations, distribution & processing, as well as CNC programming.

Moving to Cambridge, Ontario in 2019. Emtek entered a new phase sporting a 25,000 sq ft production facility and a brand new 6K Fiber Laser.

Brand new state of the art equipment & technology is the core initiative that keeps Emtek prevalent as a leading processor of stainless steel sheet & plate throughout Ontario.

Dave Emrich

Sales & Technology Manager

A sucker for all thing’s tech, Dave has been a driving force in Emtek’s creative and technical side since its inception. With a passion for DIY projects, Dave’s love for CAD and design extends well past Emtek’s 4 walls and right into his basement where he spends his spare time pursuing improvement in Adobe Illustrator, Fusion 360, OnShape, Draftsight, Meshmixer and Cura. This lends itself to production where he is growing increasingly proficient in 3D Printing, model painting and crafting.

Dave’s gained the groundwork of his ever-increasing industry knowledge with 6 years working in fabrication.

Dave’s penchant for taking a creative approach to solve unique problems extends itself to other aspects of his life including curling and being an avid fan of strategic board games.

Jeff Emrich

Sales Manager

Jeff’s professional experience includes 13 years of sales & business development for two national stainless-steel distribution/processing centers, preceded by 7 years in fabrication.

His technical understanding of alloy processing has forged numerous longstanding relationships in machining & fabrication.

Jeff has a Finance diploma from Conestoga College, as well CSC, PFP, CPH designations from the Canadian Securities Institute.

Jeff is 2nd Vice-President of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club in the Ontario Hockey League, while serving as an executive director.

Paul Emrich

Operations Manager

Graduating from the Material Operations and Management Program at Conestoga College in 2012, Paul has over 10 years of experience working in the processing industry’s demanding operations sector. This was preceded by 6 years in fabrication.

Paul has proven himself to be a thoughtful and creative leader when it comes to ensuring both our internal processes and supply chain satisfy our customers ever growing needs.

Paul’s unique abilities derive from his love for golf. Paul’s 4 handicap proves that he is level-headed and focused to maintain consistent improvement both on the course and in the shop.

In his spare time, Paul is a proficient guitar player, another example of his creativity and dedication to a craft.
